This classic cut, which was produced by Prince Markie Dee of the Fat Boys (that's him @3:57) has the "New Jack Swing" sound/harmony written all over it. When Markie Dee went solo, he also went with the popular sound at the time, which was reminiscent & inspired by Teddy Riley of Guy at the time; Bobby Brown's My Prerogative; Keith Sweat's Make You Sweat etc. Not long after this cut, K7 blew up the scene with "Come Baby Come".
