I saw them tear the roof off of CBGBs right after this recording came out. I was standing/dancing right up from. One of the best gigs I ever saw!

It is like... anti-rock'n'roll... I love "Fear and Whiskey" and "Rock'n'roll" albums but can't get any others. Shit.

If this is the Mekons, why the fuck does this video look like it was shot in 1997?

Jon Langford is always singing/writing about destruction. . . and by doing so creating chances for redemption. . .

@NineInchPinkTool02 When this or Fear & Whiskey was album of the day YEARS ago now (well maybe two or three, can't remember) I was introduced to the Mekons. That website's brought me Mekons, Liz Phair, Husker Du, the Manic Street Preachers, probably countless others...got a lot to be thankful for :)

I take it your comprehensive two-line satirical evisceration of a YouTube video was the last comment of its kind ever posted. Am I right about that?

I take it this comprehensive four-minute satirical evisceration of the music video was the last example of its kind ever recorded and released. Am I right about that?
