Reading some of the comments here... There is no doubt and never has been in my mind that she "copied" Buffy's style... and I'm a fan of Buffy's too... but Buffy is an acquired taste. What Mel did is mad that sound accessible. She covered hits, wrote originals... was and still is a fine Guitar player and great singer, A legend and an Angel! long live Melanie!
