Yeah, her voice has gotten naturally lower over the years. She can't hit the super high notes as easily anymore. On the plus side, she has a wider range now.

I could do the original pitch 10 years ago. No longer. Maybe she's got the same reason? LOL Also, for songs in really high key originally, artists seem to prefer to do them at a lower one for concerts/live performances (i.e. Idina Menzel with Defying Gravity). 2ish hours of singing and entertaining non stop can be tiring! lol
