This season had it all. Indie (Melanie), funky (Nicholas), classic rock (Terry), power (Amanda), Brian Keith, Cody and DeBorah (still can´t believe she went home so early) were really special, too. I don´t see how Cassadee won, she was not nearly as unique as the others.

I didn't watch all of this season but remembered Melanie. She was the only one I really liked. Checking the stats on Wikipedia it looks like this is the one she got eliminated on, which makes me angry. When she starts singing this tune I get chills. When Nicholas opens his mouth it instantly ruins it. I'm not really trying to knock him, he can sing, I just can't believe he got father than her because it's not even close IMO. But I guess familiar wins over original and interesting.
