@osalbaro Firstly, I have to say that I am Friedman fan too and I love his work in Megadeth as well his amazing solo albums, I agree with you on that, that friedman's solo is more complicated and technically musically better, but you can't say that dave is just like any speed guitarist, his solo has it's feel and logic and fits perfectly where it is. The other thing it's just matter of taste, that's why I didnt said "dave's solo is better" but "i like his solo better here".

@thinkerman234 Ok im not talking as a Friedman fan but as a casual musician and medium/advance guitarrist, musically Friedman solo is way complicated than mustaine's, not only but the techniques like sweep, really melodic vibrato and well putted bendings, but the combination of notes has more feeling than mustaine's, which sounds just like some speed guitarist who doesnt follow any pattern between notes, scales, etc...

@werbnnerf The second is so much harder to memorize. I would have to practice it for 2 weeks at least to get it like this again. Dave's are just freakishly wild and raw. Marty's are very elaboate and better to figurize. Chris Broderick is doing an AWESOME job right now, presenting Marty's artworks. But Dave remains the Mastermind!
