Their pronunciation is really bad (I'm Spanish, daughter of a Spanish philologist and a fan of the Archpriest of Hita), but the song is beautiful. To us they sound like 14th century tourists, though14 years ago

@Vatharian :) No problem. However, probably their pronounciation is not entirely correct. I didn't study Old Spanish, but I did study Latin and, in the songs of the Mediaeval Babes with Latin lyrics their pronounciation of the vowels in particular is not so good. I've never had one, because my mom hates snakes, but I personally think they are beautiful, enchanting, graceful creatures who are simply misunderstood... You must remember that many of the animals humans keep -- dogs, for instance -- can kill you just as easily. A snake can kill you, surely, but if you care for it correctly, it will not want to.14 years ago

I love this story, there are a lot of different variants on it. The Brothers Grimm did a few variants on it, the snake and the farmer. Al Wilson even did a upbeat kind of rock version of it. This one is amazing, you don't hear Spanish in a medieval style song very often.14 years ago
