I've seen him do this live loads of times since the 1980s and on every occasion either he's murdered it, the band have murdered it or both. The band are great here and Patti is superb as always but Meatloaf? Must be something about the studio version he just can't reproduce live, even when he could still sing.

The point is if someone can't sing live, regardless of the reason, they should stop, even if it isn't their fault. If they can't sing they can't sing.

He has a habit of singing his songs a little differently live. Combine that with his decaying (but still wonderful) voice and it explains why a few of you may seem a little disappointed.

Nothing wrong with this?! There is one weak link in this performance - Loaf. His vocals are laughable, just as they are on 'Bat Out Of Hell Live in Melbourne' and 'Three Bats Live'. It is not at all unusual for the artists to sound the same as their albums live, if they possess what's known as "talent". Patti has it in abundance.
