It's a pity that the character(I know it's based on Meat's life) played by Meat Loaf in the song, couldn't have been the main character in Transformers. I'd have been more open to a character worn away by the chill of memory, instead of a whiny middle-class teen. But yes. It's amusing how Michael Bay's hallmarks haven't changed since this video.
