A formidable clip of one of the most innovative clip-companies for independent music from the golden age of promo clips and MTV: H-GUN (Chicago). Check out the story of H-GUN here: http://www.tvcandystore.tv/hgun.html

MBM - a great band till today and Benjamin Stokes, director of the clip, is a member of them. Ben is also running his own record label now: http://www.tinocorp.com/

Ben is sort of in MBM: He manipulates video and triggers sample on top of keyboards at live shows, which is a duty all of his live crew sort of share. But all of the content is written by Jack Dangers.

I saw MBM in Ft. Lauderdale in the mid 90's. I was 16 and out late on a school night and MBM's performance was delayed by a couple of hours, so I called my dad to ask if I could extend my curfew. He wouldn't have it, so we argued on a payphone outside the club for a bit and who walks by? Jack Dangers, and he asks to speak to my father to convince him to let me stay out later. No bullshit, Jack hands me back the phone, and my dad says "fine. you've got 2 more hours..."Was totally worth seeing 'em live!

With how bad music was in the late 80's early 90's, I could not have made it through high school/college without Meat Beat Manifesto. Thanks Jack! *
