Here's Judy Kuhn in a mesmerizing live performance of Meadowlark. Definitely one of the best interpretations of this song that I ever heard, you just don't get any better than this. Sorry about the audio quality. I know it doesn't do her justice. Enjoy!

I think this mistress of song interpretation is about to win her long awaited Tony for Fun Home. She's truly an incredible actress and singer. She possesses a keen ability to play a role with subtlety and nuance and using her glorious voice to tell the character's story. And her voice is remarkable. Her truly heartbreaking performance as Helen Bechdel will probably get her the Tony she so richly deserves.

I've been in love with Ms. Kuhn's voice for over a decade. I kind of liked her as Cosette in Les Mis, And as Betty in Sunset Blvd. But I really fell in love with her while listening (over and over and over) to her album "Just in Time" where she sings all Jule Styne material. I put the cd in at the store where I worked and even showtune haters liked it! It is definitely a must have.

Musical theater actresses interpretation, par excellance. I loved this version, as well as Liz Callaway's.

I actually saw her at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. She was starring in the musical, The Ballad of Little Jo. That was like 13 years ago. I would love to hear her in person again. Her voice is so rich, soulful and soild.

I do love Judy Kuhn. This is a great performance. I saw her years ago in the city of Chicago. She was performing at the Goodman Theatre. She is a great singer and actress. The best thing I have heard her sing is What Can You Lose, from Dick Tracy. It is so well done. Oh, and her as the singing voice of Pocahantas is pure perfection. I agree, Judy is underrated. Go Judy!!!

The amazing thing about this song is that it's perfectly constructed. Because of that, drastically different singers can go this song and it always sounds fantastic. The first time I ever heard it done, it was by Sarah Brightman, who I don't care for...but I never forgot that performance. It was amazing. Years later, I would hear my favorite version by Patti LuPone. You can't get more different than Brightman there! Judy's version is fantastic, too. Even Liz Callaway's is wonderful, too.

I think this is the best version I've heard of this song (and I'm slightly partial to LuPone). Judy Kuhn's voice is simply exquisite.

Would've loved to see her play Mrs. Danvers in "Rebecca" or as Margaret White in the revival of "Carrie"!
