Echoing the comment by Carol below-I too have counted on Jesus and he will never leave us when we put our trust in him. Amen. This is another great song that would be right at home At Sunday Morning Prayer Meetin time.

Sunday Reflection: Only God's love is unending and peaceful. I counted on God and Christ often in making the choices in life and enduring the journey in life.

I don't listen to the majority of country music from the 21st century but I did listen to the top 20 cmt videos from this week ...what I did notice is a complete lack of creativity the new male singers in country all play in the same monotonous 4/4 beat and the songs have no sensitivity or emotion (getting drunk on a plane?) the girls of country are ok and a few new groups ..but mostve the male voices sound exactly like the 3 or 4 preceding it ,,,,,its nothing like the 70s 80s or 90s ..absolutely no creative songwriting , no sad songs no 3/4 2/4 beats with no great songs and worst of all they all sound alike songs like Mcbride n the ride or George Strait ,garth brooks, Alan Jackson,, Travis Tritt, Hank Jr Johnny Cash , Waylon gave you stories and separate beats ,pretty romantic songs ,ballads waltzes high energy cw , its so commercial way too bland to even last in someones memory ,,,I think the rap movement took a lot out of creative imaginative songwriting ...and it has effected any music originality from this new generation .....

I am already seeing Valentine's Day sentiments in the stores now. I really want to SAVE marriages; and so in my website for February it talks about LOVE; to the extent it could last during a lifetime. (I played this song many times before one of my major surgeries.)

Sometimes a song has such special meanings to YOU! This one is a romantic one and I loved it so much and still do. I remember playing this alot before my major surgery quite a few times thinking of God "to help me through this!" Yes, I've had my rough days just like everyone!
