What hit me hard about that episode of Rick and Morty enough to look for this song is the fact that it wasn't the usual dark humour. It was just dark. The way the song continues into the credits just gives you the chills. And this from a cartoon.

I love how each musician in Mazzy Star deeply portrays their emotions through their sound, rhythm, and lyrics. I just love music that is deep and heartfelt. Music in my opinion, was created to open the minds of people in a deep and sophisticated way.
