Lana Del Rey has definitely had some inspiration from Mazzy Star and Hope Sandoval. If you listen to 'Sirens' ('Sirens' is an album Lana recorded under the pseudonym of May Jailer when she was really young which didn't have any recognition) you can see the influence. The almost whispering and soft vocals. Perfect music to daydream.. Love them both!
