Kristen Vigard in the first ever public performance of Annie on August 10, 1976. She's the one who started it all... the rest is history. This is also one of my favorite musical theater songs of all time. Enjoy!

If this is Kristin, she really doesn't seem to have the voice for this role. I'm not gonna get technical but there are pitch problems and I think she is trying to push her voice harder than it wants to go. Andrea said in a couple of interviews in the last 2 years that the original "Annie" had projection problems at a time when body mics didn't exist.

This is really, really interesting to hear (and somewhat creepy) after seeing the doc "Life After Tomorrow" and how this girl was cut from the show. I'm glad they replaced her because her voice really isn't strong enough and quite frankly made me cringe while listening... whereas Andrea McArdle had a powerhouse voice!

I found Andrea McArdle at 1:00 playing the toughest orphan (Pepper).

Is this at the Goodspeed Opera House? Because I know that it was there before Broadway
