Just getting into Maximo now, I was in 6th form right at the height of the guitar scene circa 2005, I always lumped them with the glut of other indie guitar bands. Which in retrospect was very stupid. These guys are literally one of the best bands I've heard to come out of Britain and streets ahead of their peers. Criminally underrated.

Possibly my favourite Maximo Park song. So many to choose from though. I have every album this band has released and I honestly don't think there is a bad song or a filler on any of the albums. Great work guys!!

This song really sums up all of my feelings. I have had a lot of bad luck recently and some days i really wish i could go missing. I have a lot of doubts about my relationship. I feel very frustrated with things and right now, do i feel like i have nothing to loose. Perfect song.

Such a class band. Good to see them still playing live but sad to see them so under appreciated nowadays. Saw them at Leeds festival a few years back and it was an awesome experience with a few thousand people in a tent all bouncing along singing the songs.
