Max Webster was my favorite band right up until I was 14 and I only started listening to progressive rock and this band was always, to me and my understanding of music like Genesis and I always thought Kim Mitchell's playing and Pye Duboise' lyrics to be entirely intelligent. This only reaffirms what i felt back then. thanks for posting it GordonYYZ. I never forgot the time they came to my high school back in what 1979 at Applewood Heights Secondary School. I have played drums since then and I am grateful that you helped me find this music again. I lost my leg 4 years ago and I started playing the minute I could. Actually in the hospital I was paralyzed and it was tiny drum rhythms that I thought out and then played through by tapping it opened up some kind of neuroplastic development and slowly all of my nerves came back on. That was spooky but here I am and I appreciate 'new' music to play to on the Roland TD15 kit. Johnny 5 Eagles.

I've listened to this song hundreds of times and the solo in the middle about a thousand times. Anyone know what synth was used by TW for the solo?

Actually I hear Jan Hammer in the keyboard solo. Great tune regardless.

I hear just a hint of Yes in the keyboards. That was a time in music that will never be repeated.

I've always been so impressed with Terry Watkinson; he always played just the right part at the right time instead of overloading a bunch of showboating garbage into the grooves. Plus, he had a great voice, and the few songs he wrote were always killer. This one being no exception, and my fave tune from this LP.
