"El Bimbo" was originally recored in 1975 by the french group the Bimbo Jet, which composed of Claude Morgan & Laurent Rossi. They gained international fame due to their rendition of the theme, and this was also recorded by Max Greger and his Orchestra in their 1976 album, Tanz '76.
