The "ancient day" in the lyrics seems to clearly be the day of the dedication of Solomon's temple for the Ark of the Covenant (2 Chron 5-7). This is also likely the source for the chorus. Redman's scriptural source for the call for God's glory to again come is less clear. Many verses throughout bible make such a plea.11 years ago
