The Fresh Prince Of Trigg-Air
What I love about this version is how you've ironically removed as much studio artifice as possible compared to the nonetheless brilliant Gorillaz' original whilst still maintaining the juxtaposition of the happy/sad feeling you'd get from listening to 2D implore into his speaker. This one feels like a long lost sequel that truly fulfills the song's raw beauty and anti-consumerist ideas as, again, you've taken away all the fancy artifice that made the original so ironically good.5 years ago
