Nice enough, but as a child of the 60s it does not have that spark. It was the Beatles combined with my age and it rocked. No going back and at least their music is still listened to so I like it all things considered

The boys' early ambition was to write for the likes of Sinatra, so this arrangement turns that "what-if" into a performance. Interesting to hear for its differences from the Beatle-y sound we all are used to.

Oh, your're right. My bad. I was thinking of "Dream Baby" that was written by The Big 'O and also recorded by the Beatles. I of course like Roy's version better, but I do love the Beatles.

Lennon did write it. Look it up. He was inspired by a Roy Orbison song, and it was written as a slower ballad. George Martin decided to speed it up, and it became a hit.
