Remember....there are many different sub-genres of DnB (not guna list em all here! lol) They all have thier telltale characteristics if you know what to listen for.... but as a rule of thumb, if you don't know ....check the speed. If its fast, chances are its some form of DnB. If its slow....you're probably listening to some dubstep =D

You are correct...it is Drum and Bass. (Not Dubstep! =D) If you want to get picky its 'Liquid DnB' ...This track's Tempo is 174bpm which qualifies as DnB. Dubstep and other breakbeat sub-genres tend to run at about 140bpm (which feels about half the speed when listening) Liquid DnB takes many influences from jazz, house, soul, RnB and funk. It also generally runs at faster tempos to keep the energy high.
