On this day in 1971 {May 29th} Cochise's "Love's Made A Fool of You" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100; eventually peaking at #96 and spent 4 weeks in the Top 100... Co-written by Buddy Holly; the original version appeared on the 1959 album "In Style With The Crickets"... On April 16th, 1966 the Bobby Fuller Four's covered version entered the Top 100; it reached #26 and stayed for 6 weeks in the Top 100...
