I love this crowd. Full on energy blasts. Looks like a hell of a time.

My comment was not meant for the song "Third Man On The Moon." It was meant for another video of The Sound City Players doing a song off of Masters of Reality's first album, which your comment appeared under (probably because the video went from one video right into the next or I assumed that when you watched another video, the comments changed with it). My point being... which came first, "The Goss" or "The Queens?" "The Goss" came first. He gave them their signature sound.

Josh Homme was 15 years old in 2001? Check yer math again, my friend. This came out around the same time Songs for the Deaf came out. Oliveri and Lannegan played on this album.

Hi, Zed. What's your source? I have the original cd which unfortunately doesn't include "Third Man On The Moon". Was there a more complete, expanded disc released later on? A quick check on Ebay and Amazon only show the original release. Thanks.

When I first heard QOTSA, I actually thought it was the Masters of Reality coming out with a new song and could not believe that a band from my hometown was on the radio out here in California. Turns out Goss produced them and Josh Homme had stolen his voice. Homme was 8 years old when the Masters of Reality started out. He was 15 years old when this song came out. So, this is Chris Goss being backed up by QOTSA.
