Count myself among Pat Metheny's longest standing fans and yet, even after all these years, he stills manages to get my hair standing on end. Have to say, though, on this track particularly, Antonio Sanchez creates a mesmerising pattern that he plays with masterful delivery. Or, to put it simply: F***! That's brilliant :)

WestSideOfJazzJohn Zorn has created a world, both musically and conceptually. Zorn has been involved in the creation of that world for many years as evidenced by his his compositions from the Masada series - which are based on Jewish scales—spiked with influences from the world of jazz or anything at hand. And when that hand happens to be attached to Pat Metheny and has army of instruments, said worlds cannot help but expand.Oh, and FYI, just start tapping your feet now.
