I agree, I find the original boring and bland as if the instrumentation/vocals (while good quality as the marvelettes had a good unison of voices) and the theme of the song don't go together. thougha much more rare case sometimes covers surpass the original.

of course, just like praising shit just because of the names attached to it, not everything someone with talent does is a masterpiece or "the best" to use such idea to justify is more pathetic than pretending that which comes out of assholes is candy perfumed chocolate. cheers.

Marvelettes version is Garbage compared to this version. this version holds true to the lyrics, the marvelettes version sounds like a 4 bitches who have no idea how to be hunters and were told "ok sing this" and they had no idea what they were singing about from the vocals and the instrumental the marvelettes version is BLAND, with this version you can feel he actual chase. this version is iINFINTELY superior is not even funny.
