The original is far less repetitive, has more dynamics, blends more genres, sounds timeless & is a classic. This is the same song slowed down, with a drum, a bass, & some pads n fx. I can't stress how tacky the idea of a "remix" has become now that computer programs sync everything, trend chooses the genre, & all the artist has left, is to copy n paste presets. The craft has gone. Listen to a remix from the same era as Teardrop, & you can hear innovation, creative solutions & passion behind it.
