Lyrics below. With Vocals by; Sinead O'Connor

In the name of, and by the power of

The holy spirit

May we invoke your intercession for

The children of England

Some of whom have seen

Murder so obscene

Some of whom have been taken

Let not another child be slain

Let not another search be made in vain

Jah forgive us for forgetting

Jah help us, we need more loving

You see the teachers are representing you

So badly that not many can see you

Let not another child be slain

Let not another search be made in vain

Jah calls the ones whose

Beliefs killed children to

Feel the love of you and be healed

And may we all cry too

For representing you so badly, so badly

Jah forgive us for forgetting

Oh Jah help us to be forgiving

The teachers are representing you

So badly that not many can see you

Let not another search be made in vain

Let not another child be slain

no "normal" deaths here... the song is about "other" subjects... for example: The Mary Moss Elm Guest House VIP Paedophile Party List... Del Naja seems to have been punished for this song... 2 weeks after the issue of the album he has been charged with... the same crime of the song... weird, isn't' it? for those who don't remember, they can google del naja and alexis petridis ("The Guardian" interviewer)... not to say that Sinnead is an ex-abused child herself... I suggest also to think about the last verses of "Everywhen": "Everything you think you know, Everything you think you know, You think you know, Blood ties"... blood ties... i.e. human sacrifices? Didn't A.Crowley himself explicitly wrote that (I mean... the death of a child)? After this song, I think that a far more hermetic and more general allusion has been made with "Psyche", but I could be wrong... BTW, the music of these three songs is wonderful

GbrElfunk - Whats your point? The needless loss of life regardless of nationality is a tragedy. Make an artistic expression for those children if you feel that way moved. Its seems like you're dismissing the message because worse is happening elsewhere. Instead, try enhancing and bridging the message into other countries through mediums of art.

Massive Attack are one of the UK's best bands of all time, I'm shocked that this epic song with O'Connor has only 97 likes. Pop back tomorrow and there will be so many more....... promise.

This is a very sensitive song, but I'm sorry, there are more african, latin, and arab children dying, every day, than english.
