First attempt to put a song together using MM's drum kit and bass sounds, and adding two external guitar tracks. I chose to do a partial cover of 'Angeles Educados' a song by a great rock band from Mexico: La Gusana Ciega.

Nice stuff! Is the Maschine Mikro recorded directly to Garageband? I play multiple instruments and I'm trying to incorporate Maschine into the mix

Very nice song dude. Would love to hear the completed track when your finished. I found that there are not many of us on YouTube using MASCHINE and a guitar to make music. Also, before I typed this comment I checked out your YouTube Channel and watch your other videos. Nice guitar, nice playing and good taste in music too. Good job! When I have time, I record using a mix of guitar with software synths. I have been trying to blend Rock guitar and electronic music for some time now. Most of which has been recorded using Cakewalks Sonar X1 software. But a couple of months ago I bought the Native Instruments Maschine and have been trying to make my rock guitar electronica style on it. I have several songs in works right now on my MASCHINE, but nothing complete yet.NOT to take away from your work here and on your channel, But maybe you could check out my stuff. Just click on my name. Nice job tonezone41

Glad to see your liking the Mikro! I've had the Mikro MK2 for about a week and busted out 3 beats already!! Check out my channel and tell me what ya think! As we are both opening up the potential of this BEAST if you run into any speedbumps and need help please ask and I'll see what I can do. Subbed:)

THANKS. That's right! Although I really like to watch what people can do with the Maschine, hip hop and JD mixes work great! Check out my other song Marie where I also use the machine for the drum tracks.

Yes! Finaly something made with the mikro that is not a redundant, over cooked hip hop track or "beats". Good to see someone getting use out of it.

i think it would be better to just record your bass right into your computer. Make sure your using an audio interface with 24 bits. I'm sick of hearing shit in 2012 with 16 bits.

It took me a while to get a hold of it at the beginning too. Good help can be found in the Native-Instruments website. Look for the Maschine Mikro tutorial videos (or find them on youtube).

Just got this 2 days ago, but im having trouble putting all the pieces together to form the actual song/instrumental. For example, how do i combine scenes/patterns to flow smoothly in one play?

Hi. Yes, the Maschine is actually the software, the Mikro is the dashboard controller that comes with it. Without the software you cannot do anything. It does come with many sounds. Check it out on the Native Instruments website.
