Making a track with the new sounds included in Komplete Select, part of the Maschine 2.3 update. I use The Gentleman, Drum Lab, Vintage Organs, Monark, and several new effects such as reverb, limiter, and cabinet emulation. Sorry for all the cuts in the video -- I had a lot of audio drop outs and it was a pain to keep everything in sync.

Okay, so I want to get into creating music like this, but I am a little sure of what I need. I was thinking about getting a MacBook Pro and a Maschine Mikro for now, and then a keyboard down the road. Is there anything thing else I would need to get started? Any cords or devices? This Kontakt 5 Player /Kontakt 5 bullshit is infuriating. Komplete Select is supposedly available free "to registered Maschine users" of which I am one. I updated to Maschine 2.3 and can't find Komplete Select anywhere. No e-mail either. (Yes, I checked junk) System requirements are Kontakt 5 Player or Kontakt 5. My service center tells me I have Kontakt 5 Player. If I have to buy the $400 Kontakt, I wish they would come out and tell me. This is a lot of aggravation just to hear a stupid upright piano.9 years ago
