Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives perform "Made in Japan" (written by Buck Owens) using RS Guitarworks Superlative guitars on The Marty Stuart Show.

RS Guitarworks is proud to announce the only authorized and endorsed guitar by Country music legend Marty Stuart and his band, the Fabulous Superlatives. RS Guitarworks got together with Marty, Cousin Kenny Vaughan and Apostle Paul Martin to create a series of instruments that meets Marty and the Fabulous Superlatives' desire for classic feel, tone and build quality.

The RS Superlative guitar has a one piece maple neck with dimensions taken directly from Marty's favorite Tele, 'Clarence' (the late Clarence White's bender-modified 1954 Esquire). A lightweight pine body with a silver sparkle nitrocellulose finish makes the RS Guitarworks Superlative a picker's dream. Lindy Fralin custom-wound SuperlaTone pickups and world-renowned RS Guitarworks electronics round out this amazing guitar.

The RS Superlative bass has a one piece maple neck with Apostle Paul's special neck contour, an ultra lightweight alder body, a custom Lindy Fralin P-Bass pickup and RS electronics. A silver sparkle nitrocellulose finish makes this bass look as good as it sounds.

The RS Superlative guitars and bass were used extensively on Marty and the Fabulous Superlatives' new album, Nashville, Volume 1: Tear The Woodpile Down (2012, Superlatone Records).

One of Bucks best hits in my opinion and a bang of a job by Marty and his gang. Kenny really has a feel for those classic licks.

My grandma used to sing this song to me as a kid. My dad was in the Air Force stationed in japan in the early 70's. Mom was pregnant with me when they moved back to the states, so my grandma would joke with me about being made in japan, lol.

original Buckaroos Don Rich, Tom Brumley, Doyle Holly, and Willie Cantu still considered as the greatest country band ever. Buck the great leader. No band even today cannot meet the greatness of the "Buckaroos" Very talented group of musicians who blended so well. mosrite60

Now this is Real Music!! Marty and the band sound wonderful. Marty,s music belongs right along side the greats like George Jones, Buck Owens and Merle Haggard. Love to hear him and Connie sing.
