The official title of this "selection", is "The Ballad Of Bill Thaxton". I have the LP from 1975. It's certainly a classic. Why not. The supreme story teller of all time. "Mr. Marty Robbins". All enjoy?

The actual title of this song is "The Ballad of Bill Thaxton" It is only found on Marty's Gunfighter Ballads album, but wasn't included in the cd of the same name. I think it, along with Felena From El Paso and Cowboy in a Continental Suit should have been added to that mix as well....
