Every time I hear this song, I think of John Douglas. I don't know who is playing JD #2 but a grave in North Bay, Ontario is marked, "john Douglas Edwards" by wife, who he refused to divorce, Lois.

Brenda Lee wanted to compose songs and, well, just sing, and produced Martina. The band met just once and within a weekend this is what what was produced. Singers would be no where, including composers, without the "band". excellent work tremendous talent to blend the notes of the singer, first shot, with their own brand of notes...to do it with ear and not with practice.

There are are many covers of this song, but this is my favorite. A great singer and musicians that know the business. I have the CD of this song and the notes said that all the equipment used was old-school analog, for a true sound. It just blows me away!
