This guy has SOUL!!!! If I could only use the word ''awesome'' once to describe something on Earth, it would be Delbert. I have been at a bad place in my life lately... I don't mean to complain... but I can be crying and so down about my situation, but I listen to Delbert and I literally forget why I was sad. I don't think he'll see this, but I hope so, thank you so much for this wonderful music, it has brought joy to me at a bad time in life.

Whoa Delbert just blows the rest out of the water. The albums don't do him justice, the concerts are stunningly good. The best I've ever heard. I hope I get to see him at least once more, better yet a million more times!

this was after he had surgery to remove pollips from his vocal chords. I think he had to not een talk 3 months then 3 more before they let him start singing. DELBERTS always great but this era he was unbelievable vocally. I think pollips are back but Nov 4th he turns 72 or 73 so no more surgery. Still sounds great but has started lowering songs a step or 2 and doesn't push it to the limit on every note like in this video.
