yep, great performance on that SNL set (too much sternum for my taste...if she wore that same outfit, and gained 20lbs, and sang the same, she would be my dream-wife----no 2 ways about it). On the same box set, if ya got it, Desi A. doing Cuban Pete....(disc 5, I believe)....makes me cry a little inside when I (once in a while) see what they're up to on SNL nowadays! A time machine to hear her do the national anthem with the ridiculous vocal range required ala Whitney Houston. SEE her on Saturday Night Live from 1975 - show # 8. She looked very road weary, but just killed. This very song and Silver Bells. What got me is the pipes she had. Those high notes she is lip synching to here she wisely leaves out.12 years ago
