I am 100% sure this is about Henry Tutor and being one of the 8 wives. Literally he would behead his wife once he was done with her, or if she couldn't bare a son.

I don't want to insult her or her fans but am I the only one that thinks all her songs sound like they were preformed at a musical, a parody musical at that.

For my next Emilie Autumn entry I would like to share with you all a song about Catherine Howard, who if you didn't know was Henry the VIII's 5th wife that was beheaded for commiting adultery while married to the king. The lyrics are priceless...lol Hope you enjoy. Lyrics are below and also on the video"Marry Me"Marry me, he said, through his rotten teeth, bad breath, and thenMarry me instead of that strapping young goatherd, but whenI was in his bed, and my father had sold meI knew I hadn't any choice, hushed my voice, did what any girl would do andWhen I'm beheaded at least I was weddedAnd when I am buried at least I was marriedI'll hide my behavior with wine as my saviorBut, oh, what beautiful things I'll wearWhat beautiful dresses and hairI'm lucky to share his bedEspecially since I'll soon be deadMarry me, he said, god, he's ugly, but fortune is oursRunning in the gardens enjoying men, women, and flowers Then I break a glass and I slit my own innermost thighSo that I can pretend that I'm menstru...well, unavailableMy life is arranged but this union's derangedSo I'll fuck who I choose for I've nothing to loseAnd when master's displeased I'll be down on my knees againOh, what beautiful things I'll wearWhat beautiful dresses and hairI'm lucky to share his bedEspecially since I'll soon be deadWhen dining on peacock I know I won't swallowThrough balls, births, and bridge games I know what will followWe're coupled together through hell, hurt, and hungerOr at least until husband finds someone youngerYes, fertilization is part of my stationI laugh as he drabs me in anticipationOf sons who will run things when I'm under coversBut whose children are they? Why, mine and my lover's!But, oh, what beautiful things I'll wearWhat beautiful dresses and hairI'm lucky to share his bed Especially since I'll soon be deadWhat beautiful things I'll wearWhat beautiful dresses and hairI'm lucky to share his bedSo why do I wish I was...

I remember hearing this get Chipmunk'd once, and my first thought was of some little rat singing this to Emilie in an asylum.

I don't think the song's especially for any particular person; it sounds pretty much like any woman's situation in old days. Well, anyways, I just love this song! The sarcasm, and oh the lyrics... "When dining on peacock, I know I wont swallow" -part kinda just opened up to me :D and only after years...:')

Ok I know it probably isn't directed at her but this song totally reminds me of Marie Antoinette! Anybody, no just me, ok....
