i've seen them a number of times and just can't seem to grow the balls to talk to Emma or any of the other band members, which i never see walking around...

yeah i saw them with bosnian rainbows in baltimore and was lucky enough to meet emma for like a minute after the show (for which i got all nervous and tongue-tied). but she -- and the whole band for that matter -- seemed like the nicest and most humble people you can imagine. smart, artistic, amazing. one of my favorites.

I saw them back in August with Chelsea Wolfe and Russian Circle and was privileged enough to shake their hands and talk with them, they even signed my Kitsune vinyl. Their music gives me goosebumps, and this new material is no different. I wish more bands were like them, but then Marriages wouldn't be as fantastic as they are.

I was there friday night and I loved every seconds of it. For both Marriages and Bosnian Rainbows. 2 amazing bands full of talent and with pure chemistry.

Marriages are a wonderful band. Check out their album Kitsune. It's amazing.
