Adam Levine is a talent but highly disturbed.  His videos and his choices show he does have a mental illness.  I know he has enough money for therapy, so he should keep the sessions.  He definitely has issues.  These may be his downfall.  He has good music, but his exact thoughts make disturbing videos.
