I think alot of you forget the point of the band. It is based on an old German manuscript of a book. Each album is meant to be dramatically different to reflect the part of the Duke's journey. Next album is one, 40-odd minute song. To criticise the second album for not being like the first is like criticising LOTR's the two towers for not spending enough time in the Shire... and btw, I prefer the first album too.13 years ago

@foxy2215 Marmaduke Duke could have been so much better than it was as a band. Firstly, the instrumental tracks on the first album should have not been there and replaced with actual songs. Secondly, the second album did not need such a dramatic style change.15 years ago
