There´s quite a lot of german words in usage by english speakers (angst, rucksack, kindergarten and umwelt coming to mind); in this case it´s just that to the best of my knowledge there is no better translation of the german "Fernweh" than "Wanderlust". At least that´s what i, as a german myself, can contribute to this :D Anyway, great song by an even greater artist.12 years ago

lol, i am german and i wonder if "wanderlust" is an english word too?? i didn't know that... ps: in 2000 i was in primary school when this album came out and my mom used to play all these songs. it brings back the memories of that time :D12 years ago
