I thought I had heard every song this man has created as I love the compassionate genius he has always had for his music. I just this moment, ran across this song that somehow slipped by me. It had me in tears in no time. He has the ability to so effortlessly reach in and touch the hearts and emotions of so many. Even in the music and lyrics of his saddest songs there is such absolute beauty and usually truth. He has such a firm grip on the human condition. He sings one of these beautifully sad songs and at some point you know exactly what he is saying and the feelings that walk hand in hand with the lyrics. I sit here and listen and I can certainly feel the pain of the song and hear the beauty of this man's mind.

Just learned how to play this on my battered old Gibson acoustic. Such nuance in the structure. Such a sad song. Brings up a lot of hidden emotion to sing it.
