Back in 2014, Keith Merrow and I developed a set of pickups at the Seymour Duncan factory. This set ended up becoming the Alpha (neck) and Omega (bridge).

They are now available through the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop at http://customshop.seymourduncan.com/alpha-omega-pickups/

Yeah, I'm a bit torn here. Mark's definitely my favorite Periphery guitarist, and Seymour Duncans are my favorite pickups, so you'd think I'd be in heaven here, but damn that custom shop price tag. I understand that the Juggernauts cost the same, but that's hardly a justification for spending $325 on pickups. Like someone else said in here, something like a Pegasus/Sentient combo for half the price is a lot more reasonable. Or hell, even DiMarzio Titans are half the price too, given that they're production models (as opposed to custom shop). Pickups like those are already a huge upgrade for most people, plus there other things in your signal chain that can be used to fiddle with your tone too. It just doesn't make sense to drop that much on pickups. I mean, they really do sound awesome in this video, but freaking Keith Merrow over here is a beast at audio, so I'm going to temper myself a little bit. I'm sure they actually do sound great in real life though, and I'd love to support Mark and get these pickups, but I just can't do it.Congrats to Mark anyway though. Signature guitar and signature pickups. That's something guitarists dream about. That's awesome.

How exactly do these compare to the Bareknuckles Juggernaut pickups? I was planning on grabbing some of those but now I don't know what to do.

$325 for the set, so that's in BKP territory. It's also signed, with a USB with Juggernaut on it, stickers and picks. Hmm. Still, I'm enjoying my Pegasus+Sentient combo for $170
