What is the Thrive Challenge?
It's a simple concept. To thrive, we must:
Dig deep into the roots of our relationship with Jesus. This helps us understand who God is and who we are in him. We dig in to know God.
Reach out to others. This helps us to show the world that we belong to Jesus and that Jesus is God. We reach out to make God known.

That was an excellent message by brother Mark and Casting Crowns;and i want to ad something to that. Addictions can come in many different forms and ways. So how do we defeat them? We can't by ourselves. The Lord's word says:The spirit is willing;but the flesh is weak. So the heart says i can beat this thing;but satan and the flesh says no i've got ya where i want ya. Also in god's holy word it says: With man it's impossible;but with God all things are possible. So we beat our addictions and fears through the gospel and the very One and thing that set us free in the first place-Jesus Christ and God's holy will and word..our double edged sword.9 years ago

I am a recovering alcoholic. I'm 2 years and 7 months sober today. Alcohol had me bound in the toughest chains. Mark, I'm so glad you are addressing addiction. You ware so right when you say it is patient. It will wait until you are weak to attack. It is the devil in every form. You never know when your addiction will sneak up on you that's why you must stay vigilant. You must totally surrender to God. Mark, God Bless you. I just saw your show in San Antonio last Sunday.
