Unfortunately for Diesel he got shadowed by some really sexy guys who were filling the same slot.. like Bon Jovi, I remember my sisters and her girlfriends at the time would have orgasms over Sambora, Jovi and even Prince and Julian Lennon, they would tell me, "be like these guys watch their mannerisms, its not how they look as much as how they act" and they would point out all the sexy little things they would do, and get very excited.. and then Diesel would come on MTV and they'd start gagging and going "yuch, this guy doesn't get it'. And I was like.. "you got to be kidding me???!! He sounds great, I wish I had his looks, his talent.. He looks like he's trying to be sexy. Hell I want to cover his song!" They were like no.. those pouts, they're projecting aggression not sex appeal, this guy is just competing with guys, doing the neanderthal thing, these others guys.. they're projecting sex, they're flirting, projecting that they want to be with us. This guy just looks like he's into himself, he's not connecting".. "connecting..", lol, I got so sick of hearing that word from them.. WTF does it mean? Well apparently Diesel doesn't do that.
