M.Lanza lies with studio recordings at the front and the others are no better in the studio, how can this be ?????

I agree but of course all the studio stuff (as for recordings) is not as accurate as live singing. I never heard Lanza in person but did Hear Bjorling in 1958 in Chicago that year in opera as the Duke in Rigoletto. Lanza had one of the greatest natural voices of any tenor ever put on a record but of course Bjorling was perfection as an opera singer. I don't like to comparing some single recording's but anything said about Jussi and not a compliment is often not answered, but deleted by votes

Well now, No-one can make Jussi look like an amateur. The guy had impeccable technique and great musicality. It's just a colder more metal sound. Lanza has a yummy, rounder sound. Both are wonderful, and it's not a competition anyway.
