I met this priceless lady in the summer of 1961. I had just graduated from high school. No one has ever taken my hand and said, "Hello Steve, how nice to meet you," quite the way Marilyn did after I introduced myself. She looked me straight in the eyes and memory of her smile still makes my heart beat faster today. Her hand was soft, but strong and gentle at the same time.
