Then why call it Satanism? I never got that, it was like LaVey had a hard on for controversy. Manson isn't an atheist by the way, he has claimed that in a recent interview. He finds spiritual value in creating things and putting them into the world.He probably looks at the concept of "god" in an entirely different way than most religions do. Besides, atheism has become a clichéd 15 year old's way of rebelling against their parents. Manson is a hell of a lot deeper than that.

Marilyn Manson is against religion. According two his Autobiography he is an atheist, but he entertained the idea of becoming a Reverend in the Church of Satan for his good friend Anton LaVey. But LaVey's approach to Satanism is far different than the idiots who gather in cults and dance around a pentagram in their underwear, covered in pig's blood. Anton LaVey revitalized Satanism, making it not about worshiping a fictional character but oneself. Being true to who you are as a human being.

Not as good as during Holywood, but a hell of a lot better then the HEOL tour. He's brought back some of his classic theatrics, such as the pope costume and the podium, and using some new styles. They even started playing Kil Kill 33 as an intro into Antichrist superstar, and for a while they used Coma Black as an intro into dope show.
