Goth rock is a genre but none of those bands fit into it not even Manson. Clan of Xymox, Bauhuas, The Bolshoi, London After Midnight those are Goth Bands. It's pretty mucha dead Genre that was only around i the 80's and 90's10 years ago

My Chemical Romance is not a goth band...They're a pop/punk/alternative rock band. Goth isn't a genre of music, it is a stereotype of people, and they listen to bands such as Marilyn Manson, Angelspit, Hanzel Und Gretyl, etc. My Chemical Romance is a little soft for goths. Try listening to "Vena Cava" by Angelspit and "Blut! Zex! Fire!" by Hanzel Und Gretyl. That's a little more "goth", I guess you could say.10 years ago
