Fish had a great voice and his poetic lyrics were brilliant. Steve Hogarth has a great voice his poetic lyrics are brilliant so is his Piano/Keyboards, Guitar, hammered dulcimer et al.

Utwór " The King Of Sunset Town " otwiera tę płytę.Marillion - The King Of Sunset Town

Fish had an ego the size of a small planet and he wasn't even a musician - he didn't compose a note of Marillion music, ever. He left in 1988 thinking he was going to have a huge solo career and become the next Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel. He didn't, in fact he quickly disappeared because without the band providing the soundtrack for him, he didn't amount to very much.

my world 1989 - Fish had left Marillion after CAS :(BUT there's a new Marillion album coming out with a new singer! Cannot wait for the CD to be released in the US. I have to get it ASAP. The record store has it on Vinyl. Great, I can deal with that. The needle is down, the music begins as we wait to hear the new singer. All is good!! Oh and Fish put out his 1st solo that year. Bonus!!

What is WRONG with you fools, who can't appreciate Marillion without your beloved Fish??? They were great then, and even better now. And Mr andleavem, your opinion was negated when I read your profile name.
