they actually aren't. the music pays a lot of tribute to the style with the drum kit being the only thing that isn't from the mariachi culture. the lyrical content is right on the dot with the themes that a mariachi would sing about. the ups and downs of love, the sad things that happen in life and the happy things that it brigns.

I was lucky enough to be in the crowd for this intimate 15-20min show! They played at the store a couple of hours before playing the Concorde 2! Fell in love with this song :-)
